Intoduction

Brad Daugherty, the 1991 World Champion of Poker, has teamed with Tom McEvoy, the 1983 World Champion of Poker, to teach you how to play poker's hottest game. Remembering the days when he first began playing poker in this Idaho hometown, Daughter decided that, because of the exposure that has come from televised tournaments, a lot of people who have never played a hand of poker in their lives would probably like to try playing no-limit holdem.

And so, he wrote a special section, "Brad's Crash Course in No-limit Holdem for Total Beginners. " If you have never play poker before, read and study Part One first.

If you're an experienced holdem poker player who is making a transition to no-limit play, start by reading Part Two, in which the authors advice you on how to adjust to no-limit holdem. The champs follow up by outlining the winning principles of No-limit Texas holdem in Part Three, and then fill in the blanks in Part Four by teaching you the four major skills you must master to win at no-limit holdem.
